Models
The developed (web based) tools can be used by cold store operators and technicians to identify and value energy savings.
Two simulation tools are developed; the first a simple model for use by end users and the second a more detailed (complex) model to be used by technicians and more experienced refrigeration users.
Both models will identify the energy saving potential of new equipment and technologies and will provide a bespoke energy/ cost viability analysis for individual cold storage facilities. These models will be downloadable from the project web site and will remain available as free ware after the project completion.
